TERRORISM….when will we see the end of it?
Author: Greenstone Lobo Dated:17-Dec-2008
Though terrorism has been around, since ages, organised terrorism has been a recent phenomenon. The root causes of terrorism can be many; the scope for discussion on this topic is limitless. However, I would be focussing on the events that unfolded in India, post the Babri Masjid demolition in 1992, as almost all the events, that took place subsequently, have an antecedent in that fateful event.
Babri Masjid was demolished by kar sewaks on 06-Dec-1992 and Pluto, entered its own house Scorpio, the very next day. The events that unfolded after that were very typical of Pluto’s.
Pluto is the most powerful planet in the entire zodiac system. It stays anywhere between 15-25 years in a zodiac sign and takes about 250 years for a complete revolution. Pluto rules the sign Scorpio and as most of us know Scorpio is a deep, mysterious Zodiac sign and comprises a plurality of the secrets of the universe. Amongst other things, Pluto rules blood shed, revolution, death, sex, scandals, revenge, reincarnation, mystery, slavery, occult, etc.
Pluto brings about a transformation which will impact generations to come.
The last time Pluto entered Scorpio was in the year 1746. This was a watershed year. The French attempted to expand their colonies in India by waging a war on British-held territories like Madras. Robert Clive was in charge of the British East India Company. He lost a critical battle but managed to escape unscathed. However, he did not forget the incident and sought revenge.
Consequently, he did something which changed the history of India forever. Between 1751 and 1760, he waged war against French occupied territories and those of their Indian allies. He conquered Arcot, Bihar and Bengal. He defeated Siraj Ud Daulah in1757 at the decisive battle of Plassey and took control of Bengal. He also annexed Allahabad, Benares and Vishakapattinam.
Internationally the span from 1756 to 1763 was a very important period. These seven years would lend their name to a war that involved most of the great powers of Europe and cost the lives of 14,00,000 of their countrymen. The repercussions of this conflict were also felt in India. Robert Clive seized the opportunity to seek vengeance on the French and he managed to expel the French from India.
This was a period during which Pluto was in Scorpio and it has done something which will impact generations to come.
This was the time when Robert Clive sowed the seeds which transformed the East India trading company into a kleptocratic empire. This marked the beginning of the British Raj and enslavement for India for the next two centuries.
Circa 1992...Pluto enters Scorpio. Remember the key words for Pluto… blood-shed, revolution, death, sex, scandals, revenge, reincarnation, mystery, slavery, occult, etc.
Let us review the events chronologically:
• 06-Dec-1992 -Babri Masjid demolished
• 12-Mar-1993-Mumbai Bomb blasts
• 11-Sep-2001 Twin towers attack
• 13-Dec-2001-Attack on Parliament
• 27-Feb-2002-Godhra train burning-58 burnt alive
• 28-Feb-2002-mid June- Gujarat – revenge attacks lead to 1044 being killed, 919 widowed, 606 children orphaned, 2548 injured and 223 went missing, 1,50,000 displaced from their homes.
• 25-Aug-2003-Zaveri Bazaar blasts
• 11-Jul-2006 Mumbai Train blasts
• 08-Sep-2006 Malegaon bomb blasts; 37 killed, 125 injured.
• 26-Nov-2008 Attack on Mumbai
If you notice, most of these terror attacks fall under the banner of ‘Jihad’, which translates as ‘holy war’. The underlying theme of these attacks is ‘revenge’, just like Robert Clive’s revenge on the French. Revenge as we know now…is a typical Scorpio or a Pluto trait.
Now there is another planet which came into its own house in 2002; Uranus. Uranus amongst other things rules the following things...revolution, revolts, explosions, explosives, sudden violence, bombs, etc. The conjunction of Uranus and Pluto happens very rarely. It can be as rare as once in a hundred years. The combination of Pluto in Scorpio and Uranus in Aquarius is even rarer and happens once in 250 years. This is the most violent conjunction of any two planets. The results can be wars, bloodshed and killings on a large scale. The last time this conjunction happened was from 1749 to 1756 and that was the time when Robert Clive started annexing Indian states by waging intermittent war on them. This was also the time when the 7 Years War commenced. Hence, it’s not surprising that this time around, when the same conjunction of Uranus and Pluto occurred between 2002 and 2006, there was a series of gory incidents that took place in Gujarat in 2002, which took the lives of thousands and rendered a few lakh people homeless.
So how long will this go on?
How long will we be in this shadow of terrorism?
The worst period was between 2002 and 2006.
That's over now.
Luckily for all us, we have this planet 'Planet Z' in the horizon which is supposedly a 'good' planet compared to the explosive and violent planets, Uranus and Pluto. 'Planet Z' was responsible for the collective conscience of good will and fighting spirit that Mumbaiites showed in their revolt against terrorism and bad politics.
Remember....Pluto has sown the seeds of Violence since 1992 and Uranus has fuelled it since 2002. As Uranus is going to be around in Aquarius till the end of 2009, you expect some final 'fire works' from Uranus. It’s impossible to completely eradicate terrorism, at least in the near future. We have to live with it for at least the next 60 years. As we know, diamond cuts diamond, and so let’s hope that someone born with a Pluto in exaltation in his horoscope (a person born between 1957 to 1967) or a person born with Uranus in exaltation (a person born between 1980 to 1982) or someone with Pluto and Uranus in own house (a person born between 2001 to 2006) would eradicate terrorism from India and this universe.
Till then let’s clutch on to the rays of hope that 'Planet Z' is giving us to tide over this temporary but terrifying phase of our lives. And yes....we already have 2 gentlemen who are bringing happiness to us in their own ways...they also have Uranus exalted...M.S. Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh.
In fact if you look at the age group of people who participated in the Mumbai rally post 26/ 11, we saw that most of them were in their early to late twenties, clearly...the people with Uranus exaltation and we can hope that these young men and women would bring in a new revolution in the world and make the world a better place to live in.
Amen!
