India v/s Sri Lanka-IDBI Fortis Wealthsurance Cup

Mahela Jayawardene, the Sri Lankan Captain, seems confident about keeping the winning momentum going against India.
His confidence is understandable.
Sri Lanka thrashed Pakistan in Pakistan, in the recently concluded one day series.
Sri Lanka have inflicted one of the biggest defeats in one-day internationals and flattened Pakistan with the largest margin ever.
Openers, Tillakaratne Dilshan and Sanath Jayasuriya have once again proved their mettle. Both the new ball bowlers, Nuwan Kulasekara and Thilan Thushara have excelled and given additional strategic options for Jayawardene besides the ever dependable Muralitharan and spin magician Mendis.
Mahela Jayawardene seems keen to avenge his team’s defeat in the one-day series against India at home in July-August 2008. India bounced back from a 2-1 loss in the Test series in 2008 and won the ODIs 3-2. "The defeat to India hurt us badly and we are now looking forward to turning things around this time," Jayawardene said.
Let’s analyse what the planets have in store.
Predicting the outcome of a series such as this one is not an easy task. Unlike a World Cup, this particular series would probably not be life changing for a captain or members of the team, hence the difficulty in leveraging the help of the planets to chart its course. Moreover, the birth times of none of the cricketers are known. Hence the exact, currently operating dasa of a cricketer cannot be identified. So the prediction is based solely on the birth dates.
Mahela Jayawardene has Venus exalted in his horoscope, besides a strong Sun and Jupiter. These planets have enabled him to take his team to the finals in the last edition of the World Cup in 2007, which Sri Lanka lost to Australia. This remains his highest achievement till date besides a few series victories in One dayers and Tests.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, on the other hand, has the planet Uranus in deep exaltation in his horoscope. Uranus gets exalted once in 84 years and it’s a rare phenomenon. The Euro Cup winning Captain of Spain, Iker Casillas is blessed with this same phenomenon as do Roger Federer, Serena Williams and Abhinav Bindra - all super achievers in their respective sports.
It’s no wonder that Dhoni has led India to victory in the first ever Twenty 20 World Cup.
Fast-forward to the series at hand; we find that the composition of the Indian team composition is excellent with as many as 6 players with Uranus in some kind of exaltation state vis-à-vis only 4 players from Sri Lanka with a similar exaltation.
India also have 6 players with ‘Planet Z’ in exaltation in their horoscopes. ‘Planet Z’ is a very strong planet which is yet to be discovered and named but has been around since time immemorial and is known to affect our lives in a significant manner. The Sri Lankan team has only 2 members with this phenomenon.
If we do a man to man comparison astrologically, the Indian team comes out to be stronger than the Sri Lankan team.
The collective cohesion of the team under a Uranus exalted captain is like the icing on the cake.
Hence, one can safely infer that the planets favour India to win the IDBI Fortis Wealthsurance Cup.
From the Indian team, Rohit Sharma hopes to cement his place in India's Test squad with a solid performance in the ODI series in Sri Lanka and expect him to do just that. Also, expect some fireworks from Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Yousuf Pathan and Pragyan Ojha.
For the Lankans, expect the new ball bowlers Nuwan Kulasekara and Thilan Thushara to continue their good work attested to by their performance in Pakistan.
However….this time around, they have M.S Dhoni and company to contend with and chances are that they might just fall short.
If you’re an India supporter and you aren’t already over the moon, here’s the climax – India is bound to win the final Twenty 20 match on the 10th of February – a truly grand finale to this series.
