Who will win the IPL 2?

Ten days into the first IPL in 2008, I made my most unexpected prediction; one that even the wackiest of astrologers would term foolish and crazy. I predicted who would win.
21 days before the finals of the event, I uttered my proverbial Ides of March about the unanticipated victory of the Rajasthan Royals.
This year, in the run-up to the second IPL, I have been inundated with queries, pleas and prayers, requesting me to let the cat out of the bag.
So who’s the cat?
IPL has attained cult status and is being compared to the Football and Cricket World Cups. This was made possible by the chairman of IPL, Lalit Modi, who despite all the political and apolitical happenings, has managed to ensure it takes place within the shortest possible time in South Africa.
The initial show of the different teams means that none are clear cut favourites and it’s obvious that anyone can pick up the title.
So, who is going to win the IPL 2?
The biggest contender for the title was Kolkata Knight Riders, but unfortunately the man who could have won them the title, the lucky Saurav Dada has been removed from captaincy by John Buchanan and they now have no chances to win it.
Rajasthan Royals cannot make it a second time in a row as Shane Warne doesn’t have a horoscope powerful enough to support that.
Kevin Pieterson and Yuvraj Singh may win the cup... .in the coming years.
The Mumbai Indians and Delhi Dare Devils have a sprinkling of good players with Jupiter and Uranus exaltation and have the potential to go all the way in the tournament.
Dhoni from Chennai Super Kings has an amazing horoscope with Uranus in exaltation, plus 8 others from his team have Uranus exalted, a situation which is not paralleled in any of the other teams. Uranus exaltation is very important to win a tournament such IPL which is very innovative and path breaking.
The first time winners, Rajasthan Royals had 7 players with Uranus exaltation.
Hence, the team with the highest probability of winning the competition is Chennai Super Kings
Deccan Chargers and Delhi Daredevils have a 1 in 3 chances of having a shot at the IPL 2. .
Expect Deccan charges to upset a lot of plans.
Individual players to look out belong to the teams CSK, DD, MI and DC.
All in all, it’s going to be one hell of an exciting tournament. But don’t be surprised, if the stars have already foretold the fortune of its players.
